House Manager Services FAQs
-
Think of us as your house’s personal assistant; we handle all the behind-the-scenes household tasks you never have time for. Laundry, dishes, returns, scheduling home repairs, organizing chaos zones, stocking essentials, researching that one random thing you keep forgetting about; your house manager keeps your home running like a well-oiled (and beautifully labeled) machine so you can focus on the stuff that matters.
-
Absolutely. We handle errands such as Target runs, dry cleaning, returning that Amazon pile in your trunk, grabbing cupcakes for the class party, and even managing home vendors (waiting for the plumber so you don’t have to!). Basically, if it’s on your mental to-do list, we’re here to cross it off.
-
We start with a custom game plan during your consultation, based on what you want off your plate. As things shift (because life happens), we’ll adjust and keep you in the loop with regular updates. It’s your home, your priorities — we just make sure they get done.
-
It all begins with a complimentary in-home consultation. We’ll walk through your space, discuss your pain points, and uncover the household to-do’s that are stealing your time and energy. From there, we’ll build a personalized plan to lighten your load. Zero pressure, just solutions.
-
Yes! We believe in building relationships and routines. You’ll be paired with one dedicated house manager who gets to know your preferences, your schedule, and how you like things done. In some cases (vacation, illness, etc.), a fully briefed backup from our team may step in — but otherwise, it’s the same trusted face each time.
-
Yes. Declutterize with Dawn is fully insured for your peace of mind and ours. We take professionalism seriously and treat your home like it’s our own.
-
Yes, 100%. Every team member is background-checked, reference-verified, and trained before entering a client’s home.
-
No need to stress — we’ve seen it all. Our clients have full plates and full homes. We don’t judge. We show up and get to work.
-
Yes — we’re not the one-and-done type. We’re here to stick around and make life easier long-term. Our clients are looking for long-term, ongoing support, and we’ve found that the magic really happens over time. That’s why, after our 1-month trial period, we ask for a 6-month minimum commitment to start. It gives us time to understand your household rhythms, build trust, and create systems that truly last (not just band-aid solutions). We’re not just checking tasks off a list — we’re becoming part of your support team.
